Shocked and appalled
After watching this video (there are several parts to it), I think that I will avoid Shreveport, Louisiana! This woman walks into a police station and leaves on a gurney?

Quote from police union:
"He followed training and standard procedures, but this suspect was out of control and repeatedly tried to leave the testing area, which forced him to have to restrain her. After her refusal to take the breath test, Officer Willis turned off and saved the videotape, in accordance with normal practice. The suspect again tried to leave the room. In the process of stopping her, she fell and injured herself," the statement continued.
The inconsistency that stands out the most for me in this statement is that the police officer says that he turned off the camera because the woman had refused the breathalyzer test and they would be leaving the room. He then contradicts himself by also saying that after he turned off the camera, she tried to leave the room. ?? They both wanted the same thing--to leave the room--so why was there a conflict?
Also, if, as the police chief states, it is their department's policy to turn off the camera while a "prisoner" is still in the room, then why was the camera on before this lady comes into the room? It seems that if that is their policy, we would have seen the woman in the room with the officer when he turned the camera on. There are just too many contradictions. It is obvious to me what happened...

I saw that and was appalled...nothing that woman did gave him the right to beat her up.

that was awful! Also, if she had fallen while trying to leave the room, wouldn't her blood by BY THE DOOR?? Also, did you click on the link where it said the cop was fired? It showed the after pictures of her face, and she had two awful black eyes. I've never seen anyone "fall" and get two black eyes. That was horrible.
Beth, you KNOW what I thought as soon as I saw that! A coward abuser--if he's married, he probably abuses his wife! Men like that are consistent!
I thought the same thing. HE was just so calm after doing it!
Kind of defeats the purpose of having a camera if you can just turn it off when they refuse to take the sobriety test. I hope they change that policy. What an idiot! She fell. If you are going to lie, at least say she attacked you, but saying she fell just makes you look guilty.

Kitkat I hope we remain friends and that you aren't so shocked by my confessions that you dislike me - I am just trying to make the changes that I need to make and I can't do it without being 100% honest - My families wholehealth depends on it!
RC: Hi Kat. No problem with copy/paste! I have been meaning to print it out myself and keep in handy. It really is a great list. If you could see her children you would know that it is a wonderful list. Her children are wonderful! And I can see a difference in my little ones too since I have started it. -- We are about to start a little routine here at my parents house. So, Table Time is about to begin again but my little ones love it.
That video. I meant to comment before but "Eeee! It just erked me!" I am glad that he got fired hopefully it went on his record.
