  • Moving, schmoving...

Things are getting hectic around here.  I have been making calls for the rent house:  two companies for bids on flooring, two companies for bids on painting.  I find it ironic that we are going to have the rent house painted, but we are not painting our house, LOL!  Truly, our house is not in dire need of painting, and I am sure that whoever buys it will want to pick out their own colors, etc.  The rent house is another story!!  D-i-r-e need of paint, *fer sure*.  I still have to call about the water and electric at the rent house...

I am trying to find someone to get the yard in shape over there--my parents said that there might be poison ivy behind the garage, and the people who "rented" (my parents were too nice) the house last year left a lot of odds/ends stuff in the back yard.  If I could find someone to clean it up, edge it, etc. before we get there in two weeks (time's a-flyin'), then I am going to have my husband buy a trampoline to set up for the boys.  This would give them something to play on while we are working on the house, unpacking, etc.

    More later...

  • If you get a trampoline I'll have to be jealous of you too! UGH! lol

  • I know how you feel!  Our house in Savannah is still on the market. We are having to pay someone to keep that yard clean and cut while it is being on the market. Meanwhile we are here doing our own lawn. We are having to paint both houses too. However the one in Savannah is still on hold. We have to find time to get down there and put a little TLC into that house. But we have a few business trips we are going on with Beloved first so it might be awhile.

God Bless You with your projects!

  • Wow, I can't believe you are still working on moving!  What a hassle!

  • Two weeks??? Yikes! Sounds like you have alot left to do and not alot of time to do it.
Btw, I received my CVS extra care card in the mail the other day. Now I just have to do my homework. :wink-wink:

  • Sounds like it's going to stay busy for awhile.  I hope you can get the trampoline for the kids- and get rid of the poison ivy!
