I use to have a teacher that if you told on someone in the class or talked to much, she use to make you wear the "I am a gossip"  or the "I am a tattle tail" shirt all day.  (She had a few moe shirts too but I can't remember what they were) I never had to wear them but many did and I always felt so bad for my class mates. But, they never did their behavior again, due to the humiliation. -- She was an excellent teacher too!  -- She would often tell parents, my responsibility is to teacher your children, your responsibility as a Parent is to make sure they have basic behavior and moral skills down. If I have to do other things while teaching I won't get teaching done. The teacher had many visits from parents who always walked in angry but in the end  the parents all walked out calm and okay with the fact their child had to wear the shirt.   -- She found by the second month of class, that only the threat of shirt  made everyone behave. She ended up having the best class in the school.  I enjoyed that year too and for years watched those little shirt being worn by other little kids for years after I had gone on to other classes. -- Now, she would be taken to court if she humiliated a child.
