  • Has Family Circle magazine predicted the outcome of the election?

To the winner goes the White House!  :)

I was reading the Family Circle magazine's November 2008 edition at the JCPenney salon yesterday, and found an article on a cookie recipe competition they hosted between Cindy McCain, Michelle Obama, and Bill Clinton (his votes dwindled to 2% after Hillary conceded to Obama).

    Cindy McCain won.

The magazine noted that if history repeats itself, the winner of their cookie recipe competition would be next in the White House.

What if this little "recipe competition" were a better sampling of people's votes than all of the "polls" in the media?!  ;)   I guess we'll find out soon...

  • Then that would be one DELISIOUS cookie!!!  :big-smile:

  • hahaha how funny would that be! I think more people would go vote if cookies were involved!

  • I have actually been waiting to hear the results of this, because I know it's been a really accurate predictor. YEA! Good news! Thanks for sharing! I'm recommended the post, but I'll stick a link in my Pulse, too. :dancingcow: :celebrate: :sleepy:

  • Sounds like Family Circle has some sense!  : )  I still have Barbara Bushe's recipe on file...It was a good one!

Cindy McCain is a pretty smart cookie eh?   Have a great day and may we lift this nation up in prayer.  ~Amelia

  • Ohhh I really hope so. :celebrate: I don't pay much attention to the so called "polls" anyway. You can't believe everything you read or hear.

Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping Family Circle is right on the money with that one.:wink-wink:
