Not in mourning!
So, I am going to cling to my guns and religion--but I am not bitter. Clearly, our nation is divided. I am curious about our future. Some predict another civil war. I take comfort that I am in Texas, where we could be our own nation, if need be!
For the next two years (until we vote for the Senate and House again), I will continue to pray for our country while I take care of my own little country: my husband, my children, and my home.

Great attitude. Gun sales have rocketed. Man I wish I owned a gun store right now....LOL!
Oh yeah. And it will only take these next two years to show America (specifically those republicans who voted dem this year) who they elected into office. It may be a tough to years and we may see some legislation that we don't like be passed, but it will end.

I totally agree and came to that very same conclusion last night with my girlfriends. We figure God let him be president for a reason so we need to find a way to stand beside God in the future.
Guns? Yep, will have some more soon!
I only wish the Texas line was about 40 miles farther to the west so it would include me. LOL! I'm sure most E. New Mexican's wouldn't mind joining Texas ranks.
