I was inspired by Lindsey to hang a grapevine wreath for Lent, but I just couldn't find the wallspace, so I added it to my tablescape:
I think it works very well! Somewhere, I have a bread recipe for Lent~you form the loaf into a crown of thorns~I need to find my recipe and let the boys help make bread...

My table might be getting too much air-time, but I wanted to post a close-up of the tablecloth--I really love these vintage tablecloths! They remind me of my grandma...one day, I am going to dedicate a post all to my Grandma Daniel! How I wish I'd known her as an adult...

I love your table and I love little peaks into other homes so not too much air time for me
Have a good night!
I've have a couple of vintage tablecloths like that. I love the way they feel. I've seen little girls dresses made from them too. Thanks for dropping by and I'm guessing "rolling" is not a lost art with the kids at our church, they go the extra mile with stabbing forks all in the yard and actually rolling the house! Other than the ones I know about, I really don't see it that often. Legally it's considered vandalism around here and you can get into real trouble if the people want to press charges. Maybe that's why it's people you love that you roll now rather than the way is was when I was a teenager! Have a good day!
I saw a table cloth like this one at a thrift store yesterday. I thougth it was so pretty. Your table looks good.
Blessings
Where do you find these tablecloths?? I really would like one.
Although, the way my children are at the table, it's probably safest for everyone if we not use tablecloths until they are older . . . .lol
You are so good at decorating. I think I have a few of those vintage table cloths floting around but I have not put them on my table!
Have an awesome week!
BEAUTIFUL table-scape. LOVE your vintage tablecloth and the to-die-for-beautiful candleabra (sp??). Nice touch with the wreath too--looks so pretty all together!
