  • On Saturday, my four-year old wanted to do math:  he wanted me to turn on my oldest's math DVD while he did his "homework", which was copying numbers on his little yellow notepad.  We paused for the "stop and think" sections and he copied numbers.  We forwarded to the end of the lesson when he got tired from all of the talking--that's when the professor writes the problem, the student pauses the DVD to solve the problem, then plays to watch the professor solve and check the answer.

It was really sweet~and he was so proud to tell my oldest about it today (he was spending the night with a friend last night)!

Here is my summer evolving tablescape~it's not complete and the tablecloth is wrinkled, LOL, but it still has something soothing about it...

  • I like the tablescape, and I LOVE the flowers!

  • Very nice tablescape. Those flowers are gorgeous!!

  • Thanks!  The flowers are from Walmart--I combined two bunches that contrasted nicely.  And Pilot helped with the sand and shells--we added some broken pieces of sand dollars that we found at the Corpus beach (we could not find a whole sand dollar--I think the strong waves were breaking them as they came in).

BTW...Lion spilled coffee on the tablecloth this morning and it's okay, because it won't be so wrinkled when I pull it out of the dryer and take it straight to the table, LOL.

    ;) :dancingcow:

  • Since you live near a beach, when I want to go to the beach with the fam, we can come your way, right??
