I just cannot say enough good things about Cranford (PBS)--I loved it! I laughed, I cried. I loved it when Matty had a teacup of warm milk with honey. I laughed when Miss Pole accused her friend of wanting to "trump" her because she'd never had a husband. You can watch it on-line until Friday (including Friday, I think)--scroll back for my previous PBS links! Now I want to read the book...

Today's Goals
- Complete both boys' rooms--closets and touch-up paint
- Begin packing kitchen (leave out one pot, pan, ladle, etc.)
- Clean kitchen and organize cabinets
- Have relaxing dinner out on deck: fajitas and corn-on-the-cob from BBQ pit (hopefully the sun tea will be ready in time--got a late start today!)

What fashion fad do you wish would come back?
It is kind of ironic that I was just pondering this: I visit this site about once a week and kind of daydream about the past. I love the hair accessories (?can't think of a better word) in this picture--especially the one on the girl on the far right. The girl third down is wearing another version of it that I also think is very flattering (click on "View Full Size" below the picture to get a better look!).
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Monday Evening Blessings
- coming home from an errand and having my three-year old run to me for a hug, bubbling, "Mommy, you're back!!"
- that good, tired feeling--the one you get when you have physically worked hard and know you are going to sleep soundly tonight!
- cleaning the bathtub, then being the first one to use the bathtub (LOL)
- knowing I will wake up to a clean bathroom (doesn't take much to thrill me tonight!)
- the anticipation of watching a rented movie in bed...
- coming home from an errand and having my three-year old run to me for a hug, bubbling, "Mommy, you're back!!"

It was a good day...
Today was beautiful, so we switched up our plans and worked outside on the landscaping and deck almost the entire day.
I cleaned the deck, patio chairs and table, and many, many pots with the pressure washer. I have decided that the next time I stain a shirt or any other clothing, I am going to take it outside and pressure-wash it--that thing is my new favorite toy! LOL
This is one of our crepe myrtles--I am wondering if I could cut off a few branches and force them to bloom in the house...I need to look that up (their normal time to bloom is in July).
Sailor found this baby frog~we came across several big tree frogs today--all varying shades of green!
As we were winding down for the evening, we drank our sun tea and watched our little guys play in the bubbles and water:

I'm off- and on-line sporadically--I take a break, read a little, then get back to work. I feel kind of bad because I am reading my subs, but not always commenting! (But that's what I love about xanga---that I can come and go when it's convenient!).
My husband and I have our daily plan/goals written out and we are striving to stick to them--I am hoping that we finish on time because his birthday is next weekend...it would be nice to have everything completed and just relax for that!

If you like Victorian period films, you'll love Cranford! It is showing on PBS this month, but you can also watch it on-line!

Update
The Dr. found infection in one of Sailor's sinus cavities on a CT scan and he is on intense antibiotics (10 days) and steroids (5 days). In two weeks, if the gland is not smaller, he will remove it and have it tested. We are praying that this infection is the reason why the swelling has not receded!

Monday Morning
We dropped our van off early this morning to have it detailed. Boy, does it need it!! This place even washes out the grooves where the doors slide open--I don't understand how so much dirt and yuck can get stuck in those things...
We are packing up the little boys' room (again!). Poor little guys. I am going to leave them about five toys each! Everything else will be "outside" toys...I am packing up all of their books and movies--we'll rent and borrow from the library for the summer.
I am going to stop around noon to get ready for Sailor's ENT appointment. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers!
